Writing
John is an accomplished writer and has authored numerous reports on work, organizational change and public policy. In recent years he has written reports for clients such as Arts Council England, Creative Scotland, Demos, The Government of Western Australia, Creative London, NESTA, The RSA, The UK Film Council, and The All Parliamentary Group on Employee Ownership, and Taylor Vinters (see the Resources page)

- His latest book, with Richard Reeves, is ‘The 80 Minute MBA’, which was published by Headline in March 2009, has achieved significant commercial success selling over 50,000copies in the UK placing it in the all time top 25 list of UK business books.
- John also recently drafted a new cultural strategy for Manchester, adopted by the City Council, in their recently published Cultural Ambition document
